Based on the beautiful Sunshine Coast, QLD, Australia, Soak Society is all about reclaiming the bathroom, me-time and wellness, with their 100% natural bath soaks.

The only thing more relaxing than a long soak in the tub is when you add bath salts or soaks — and of course bubbles! With the Soak Society, you can do so with 100% natural ingredients, with the soaks formulated not only to delight the senses, but also to nurture your body whilst you soak, with ingredients such as active Pink Kaolin clay, and Himalayan pink salts that will soften and smooth your skin and promote detoxification.

Aside from being super pretty to look at, all of the bath soaks smell heavenly. The first one I tried was the Rose Wellness Soak (pictured above) which left my skin ultra-soft and the bathroom smelling like turkish delight.

The Sleep Wellness Soak is wonderful for completely relaxing you with lavender and chamomile, whilst the Noosa Wellness Soak is more revitalising in it's scent with jasmine, lemon myrtle and lime.

Even if you don't have a bathtub, or just want to relax your tired feet, these also work well as a foot and/or hand soak! Pop your feet in a tub, settle down with a good book and you'll be feeling more calm, refreshed and relaxed in no time.

I also had the pleasure of trying the Soak Society Flower Power BathDew — which fills the bathroom with the most gorgeous (but not overpowering at all) floral scent. The bubble bath itself is rose-gold and glittery in the bottle, and froths up beautifully (just add it to the running water and you'll have all the bubbles you could want!). It contains extracts of Magnolia and Rose and uplifting Orange Blossom, as well as magnesium and Larch Tree Extract, a natural plant collagen, to promote smooth and hydrated skin.

It leaves my skin feel super soft (and not at all dry or stripped!) and it's wonderful to be able to have a bubble bath free of parabens, SLS or SLES, synthetic colours, fragrances or preservatives, EDTA, silicones or mineral oils.

Adding a Soak Society Bath Soak to your tub really does improve the overall relaxtion, and leaves my skin and body feeling wonderful. I've also made a mental note to take more time for little treats like this — rather than leaving it to when you're on holiday or for "one day". There are so many daily rituals we could be doing to take care of ourselves, but for whatever reason never do, always putting it off with some excuse of needing more time, money, less guilt, the list goes on. As women, I find it's so easy to fall into the never-ending trap of excuses about why you don't matter.

So go on. Get yourself a bath soak or two and carve out a little me-time each week.

And tell me in the comments below or over on Instagram what you are going to do this week to make me-time for yourself.
