I'm excited to share with you the new shades, just released, and have swatched all of them on my lips for you, as well as sharing my thoughts so far...

I just wanted to mention how gorgeous the packaging is. The sleek white tube feels so chic and good quality (no flimsy caps here!), and the lipsticks are a dream to apply.

Amalia / SHOP

"This one is special, named after my beautiful mum. The formula/texture is different to the other lipsticks. It's a subtle pink sheer wash of colour."
Whilst all of the shades are absolutely gorgeous, AMALIA is probably my favourite. It is the prettiest my-lips-but-better shade, and has a slightly sheer, glossy finish. Don't worry, the colour still builds beautifully. Like all Nudus lipsticks, the colour is long lasting and very moisturising on the lips. I really couldn't ask for more.
Viva /  SHOP

"The perfect shade of soft pink, this is my go to everyday lip colour."

This shade is a true matte finish. It is a soft purplish-pink shade.
Applied lightly it was more pink, but as I built the colour up to fully opaque, it has a more purple leaning. I actually quite liked this shade which was really surprising for me, given I don't really like purple - in any shade (unless it's lilac) - and definitely not on the lips. It could also be my skin tone and natural lip colouring, because it looks very similar to Amalia in the tube, but applies quite differently!

Diana - you've sold me on trying more experimental colours!

Also despite the matte finish, this still sits really beautifully on the lips, isn't at all drying (ALL the shades are very moisturising) and long-lasting.
Dreamtime / SHOP

"Inspired by our beautiful Australian outback and a celebration of our Aboriginal heritage. If 27 Kisses had a sister, this would be it... with a hint of red. Perfect as a multi stick on the cheeks."

I also really loved this shade. Dreamtime is a gorgeous earthy red, but not too dark, and not so brown or earthy that it doesn't work for my light - medium skin tone. It actually feels really Autumnal, and will be lovely coming into the cooler months. This is another shade I know I'm going to be reaching for quite often!

Semi-matte to gloss finish.

Ruby Rose / SHOP

"A very wearable pink/red. Perfect for day or night."

Ruby Rose is a super pretty, very wearable pink-based red. This shade actually looked more red on me than what is pulling in the photo above. Ruby Rose is really vibrant, and has a semi-matte finish.

This shade is actually between ILIA's Crimson & Clover and Wild Child. And considering that this has a 100% natural pigment, and those 2 ILIA shades have some synthetic pigment, I know what I'm switching to.

Zozo / SHOP

"A fun bright purple pop of colour. It's the showstopper of the new colours."

This is a deep, vibrant purple shade. It is a really fun colour and again I was surprised at how good it looked on. The finish is semi-matte, and deliciously creamy and moisturising. Again a super long-lasting colour!

There isn't a shade I don't like out of all these colours. They are all SO pretty and feel and look amazing on the lips. With formulas as good as these, there really is no reason for you to continue using toxin-filled lipsticks! What colour is your favourite out of the new shades? Share below or over on instagram!
