I recently reviewed the new Alima Pure Liqiud Silk Foundation, Cream Concealer, Satin Matte Eye Shadows, Luminous Shimmer Eye Shadow and Satin Matte Blush from Emporio Organico, and today I'm sharing one of several looks I'm going to be creating featuring this wonderful brand.

If you want to know more about Alima Pure and my thoughts on each of these products individually, you can read my review here. This post is just going to be all about this simple, but glamorous (green) holiday look. Of course you could wear it for any other occasion, but I always feel if there is any time to bust out a red lip, it's the festive season.

With all of the end-of-year celebrations, work parties, Christmas parties and other general holiday fun, this is the perfect time to mix up your looks, and experiment a little!

This look is fairly simple, but a few details keep it fresh and festive.
I've kept the skin light and clean, a subtle contour (warmth is essential with a red lip!), red lip and rose-gold metallic eye-liner for a fun twist!

How To Create a Holiday Look with Alima Pure

  1. I always prep my (clean, damp) skin with an oil. The RMS Beauty Oil has been what I'm reaching for lately, but any lightweight, fast-absorbing oil will do - Rosehip Oil is ideal.
  2. Warm the Alima Pure Cream Concealer with the fingertips, then apply underneath the eyes. Use the excess to prime the eyelids. Using the Kjaer Weis Foundation Brush, blend out the concealer under and around the eyes.
  3. Conceal any spots, redness or blemishes with the Alima Pure Cream Concealer and Kjaer Weis Foundation Brush, blending the edges out carefully.
  4. Using a barely damp (almost dry) Beauty Blender, apply a small amount (pea-sized) of the Alima Pure Liquid Silk Foundation in Dew directly to the sponge.
  5. Starting in the centre of the face, blend out the product. It is best to work on each area at a time, then add more product as you move to the next. I do from nose to cheek on both sides of the face, then chin, forehead. Then another small amount for blending the jawline, temples, bridge of nose and blending everything together. You can add another layer if you feel you need it in problem areas.
  6. Set everything with a light dusting of powder. I use the RMS Beauty Tinted "Un" Powder.
  7. Taking the contour shade from the Lily Lolo Sculpt & Glow Duo, lightly contour beneath the cheeks and the jawline. I also use this product as a bronzer with a fluffy brush, and lightly dust the bridge of nose, and chin to add warmth to the skin.
  8. Apply the Alima Pure Satin Matte Blush in Pink to the apples of the cheeks.
  9. Apply the W3LL People Bio Brightener Stick (formerly Moonstone Glow) to the tops of the cheekbones, bridge of nose and cupid's bow for a glowing highlight.
  10. Shape, fill and define brows. I used EcoBrow.

For the Eyes

  1. I swept Alima Pure Satin Matte Eyeshadow in Fleur all over the lid as a base.
  2. Taking the Alima Pure Satin Matte Eyeshadow in Bramble, place through the crease and outer V to add depth and definition to the eyes, blending well.
  3. Highlight the centre of the lid, inner corner of the eye and beneath the brow bone with Alima Pure Satin Matte Eyeshadow in Bone.
  4. Taking a wet eyeliner or angled brush, apply the Luminous Shimmer Eyeshadow in Chai to the upper lash line. This adds a sublte glimmer and warmth to the eyes, bringing out the colour of the eyes without being too full-on.
  5. Finish with 2-3 coats of the W3LL People Bio Extreme Mascara

Lips are ILIA Beauty Lipstick in Wild Child.
Hair was set and styled with Innersense Organic Beauty I Create Volume Lotion and Inner Reflection Finishing Polish.
