Au Naturale have a stunning range of cream cosmetics, and I'm featuring the Creme Eye Shadows in Ivory, Bliss and Saddle, alongside the Creme Blusher in Sweetheart.

Au Naturale Organic Creme Blusher Sweetheart

First of all, all of the Au Naturale packaging is 100% recyclable. The Creme Blusher is packaged in a twist-up tube, similar to a multi-stick or (really chubby) lipstick. I really like this type of packaging, as it makes it easy to access the product, or you can apply it directly to the skin.

The shade Sweetheart is a blue-based pink, a very flattering cool-toned mauve. The odd thing I've found with cool-toned colours - they look very flattering and natural on the cheek, but I'm not a fan of blue-based pinks on the lips. Sweetheart is a really pretty shade, not too cool, and looks natural on a variety of skin tones.

For a creme blush, the formula is on the drier side and gives a satin finish.
I don't mind the dryness one bit (it's not dry on the skin), as it is still creamy enough to blend easily, but dry enough that it doesn't give any added shine or dewiness, and the colour lasts all day. If you have an oily skin type, or prefer a more satin - matte finish, then these blushes would be a good choice!

I've been applying this by warming with my fingertips, then patting the colour out onto the apples of my cheeks, before blending with a brush. You could also apply directly from the stick to the skin, and then blend. The sleek packaging also makes it a handy size to carry with you for touch-ups.

Creme eye shadows are a quick, effortless multi-tasking product to have in your make-up kit. The shade Saddle is rich, matte, coco brown. The lighter shades are much more sheer, where Saddle is intensely pigmented. I've applied it rather lightly in the swatches above and below (one tap with a brush into the pot and blended all over). This shade is so intense, it also doubles as an eyeliner! The rich matte shade is softer than black, so I love it for tight-lining (drawing the line as close as possible to the lash line) my upper lashes for day wear. I simply use an eyeliner or angled brush.
Again I find the formula quite firm and dry for a cream eye shadow. If you're familiar with something like the RMS Beauty Creme Eye Shadows, the Au Naturale shadows are not at all the same soft creaminess. As they are drier and firmer, the Au Naturale Eye Shadows are not nearly as prone to creasing.
To apply, I've used a brush below, but the fingertips work equally as well, and make for a quick, effortless look. The other thing I love about cream eyeshadows is that they give the lid a more youthful appearance, as they are also really moisturising to the skin, rather than looking dry. A dewy, matte (versus a shimmer) finish is also more flattering than shimmery shadows, that can enhance fine lines.

On the matter of creasing
My lids are slightly hooded (not sure you can see it in any of these photos as I'm looking slightly downward), so even powders end up creasing on me. The Au Naturale Creme Eye Shadows have minimal creasing. You can also set any cream eye shadow with a translucent powder to set and help prevent creasing. If my eye shadow does crease or settle during the day, I simply pat it out with my fingertip and it's as good as new!

I really love the packaging of the creme eye shadows too - a frosted glass pot and screw-top lid. They are nice and compact in my make-up bag, and are also easy to access and apply. Plus, they look gorgeous!

Ivory is a gorgeous ivory shade with an almost frosted, champagne finish. It provides a sheer wash of colour and a glossy finish to the lid. Effortless, and youthful. This shade can also be used as a highlighter (which I also love it for), or mixed with any other product for a luminous glowing finish.

If I want to intensify the colour, I'll use a brush, but otherwise, this shade is gorgeous for a quick, fresh 5-minute look. I simply swirl my fingertip in the product to warm, then wash over the lid.

This shade would also be gorgeous as a highlighting shade on darker skin tones.

This shade is probably my favourite of the trio. It is a really pretty soft, warm pink with a luminous finish. For a Spring or Summer-fresh look, Bliss washed over the lid completes a glowing, blushing look. It is also really pretty swept through the crease with Ivory all over the lid.

The shade Bliss can also be layered over a lip colour or blush for a pretty luminous finish and to pull your whole look together.

Creme Eye Shadows are such an effortless, multi-tasking product, and an essential for a youthful, 5-minute face. I really love the entire Au Naturale range. The eye shadows are stunning and the creme blush is absolutely beautiful. I've been reaching for these frequently.
