I adore deep, moody colours for Autumn and Winter, and Promise from Sienna Byron Bay is the perfect hue. A rich, berry/plum red that is sleek and sophisticated. I also used a stylus tool and Peace to create a dot on each nail. I really love the rich hue and adding a single dot in a contrasting colour is a simple yet effective way to add a little interest to your manicure without having to be an experienced nail artist.

I've previously reviewed Peace, Bliss, Ambrosia, Stone, Lightening Top Coat, Sticky Base Coat and the Soy Nail Polish Remover.

I've talked about the difference between Sienna Byron Bay and other 3-5-7-10-Free nail polishes before, and Sienna Byron Bay is the only traditional-formula nail polish I will use due to this.

If you want to apply your nail polish in a hurry, a dark colour is the way to go. Dark shades are so much more forgiving than light colours, and Promise from Sienna Byron Bay can be worn with just one coat (it's a lighter berry hue) or to fully opaque in just 2 coats (shown above).

As always I apply a Sticky Base Coat, and finish with a Lightening Top Coat for an extra glossy finish and longer wear time.

I always get 4-5 days to a weeks' wear from all the shades, but whilst dark colours can be applied faster, in the same way a bold lipstick is more maintenance than a natural shade, they'll also show up signs of wear much quicker due to the contrast between the colour and your natural nail. Even though Peace still wore the same as all the other shades, I had to really look closely to see the tip-wear as the colour is so light and translucent, so I could get away with not removing it as soon.

Sienna Byron Bay have also just released these stunning gift boxes - all purchases of three or more nail polishes will include a gorgeous, embossed gift-box! Shown above is Peace, Promise and Bliss, three of my favourite shades!
