Hello, I'm Roar is an up-and-coming Australian skincare brand.
Their products contain only the purest plant-based ingredients and are 100% Certified Organic, Cruelty Free and are also vegan.
I recently received the Roar Cherry Blossom & Rose Fragrance Mist, Rosehip Oil Age Repair Serum and the Cucumber & Plum Eye Make-Up Remover. I also received a sample of the Goji Berry & Vanilla Bean Mini Scented Spray (available in the February Vegan Beauty Box).
A little bit about Hello, I'm Roar:

"We are committed to providing the best natural skincare remedies that will make you look younger, feel smoother, and glow naturally. All of our organic beauty products are hand made with natural ingredients, no parabens, no petrochemicals and no artificial ingredients. With a wide range of natural remedies, our products are all designed to provide you with the best natural skin care alternatives you can trust, we are sure you will love them as much as we do."

The packaging looks like glass, but its actually plastic, which is great as I prefer not to have glass bottles in tiled and slippery areas (hello, bathrooms!). One slip and your favourite product is a shattered mess on the floor. No thanks.

I also really love the chic, minimalist labels. The design feels a tad vintage, and includes instructions on use/application. They also tell you a little more about each product, and its benefits. Pretty labels are a must for me, and these definitely meet the mark!

It was love at first spritz.

I'm slightly obsessed with facial mists and sprays - they are so refreshing and hydrating to the skin, even over make-up! This fragrance mist also does double-duty as a make-up setting/refreshing spray and a light toner.

This summer, the heat in tropical north Queensland has been killer.

Thirty-five degree days and no air-con wreaks havoc on my skin and any make-up is sure to slide.
This beautiful fragrance mist works wonders at keeping my make-up (and skin!) fresh. It also has a slight tightening sensation - which feels wonderful. I've been spritzing morning and night, and when I wake up my skin feels lovely and hydrated, refreshed and plump!

Don't be put off by the name - fragrance mist - especially if planning on using this to refresh or set your make-up. It is not a perfume. The scent doesn't linger, rather giving you a lovely fresh, cherry blossom & rose scent, before dissipating.

I already want this in a travel/purse size to keep in my handbag so I can touch-up on the go.

Hello, I'm Roar recommend it for Normal to Oily, Combination skin. They also suggest it helps to regulate oily skin and breakouts. My skin type is normal (with hormonal breakouts), so I can't account for keeping oiliness at bay, however, I will update whether or not it helps with the breakouts.

Either way, I love this mist and definitely want to repurchase (it's a whopping 250ml - affordably priced at $20 - so it might be a while!)

Micro clustered Ionized Water, Organic coconut water, organic aloe vera juice, olive chamomile extract, Ionic mineral complex, vitamin E, Essential oils of Rose Otto, Cherry Blossom, Rose Absolute, Rose Geranium, Rosewood Ylang – Ylang

I usually use an oil to remove my eye make-up, which works well, but I can have blurry eyes for a few minutes after due to the oil on my lash line.

This Cucumber & Plum Eye Make-Up Remover from Hello, I'm Roar conditions as it effortlessly removes all traces of make-up - including my waterproof mascara!

I put this on a cotton pad after I've showered and cleansed, and simply wipe away what's left of my eye make-up. There is no tugging or pulling on my eyelashes or the delicate skin around the eye, and absolutely no irritation or blurry eyes whatsoever (even for butter fingers who got it in her eye!)

The consistency feels just like water, only it doesn't have the drying effect water has to the skin and eyes, and it feels super fresh and clean.

I've also used it to remove all of my other make-up, which it does very effectively. I don't even need to repeat the same area twice. A little tip - if you're doing a dramatic eye look or mess up with your eye-liner, pop a bit of the Cucumber & Plum Eye Make-Up Remover on a cotton-bud and wipe away any fall out/mistakes!

Another brilliant product that is totally going to replace my oil-removal method.

Water (Aqua), Decyl Glucoside (sugar derived), organic cucumber water, organic chamomile extract ( plant derived), organic cucumber extract, organic aloe vera extract, vanilla oil, lavender oil, sodium benzoate ( naturally derived) glycerin ( plant derived.)

This serum would probably be more accurately described as a facial oil, since it is a blend of pure oils, all beautifully suited to the skin.

The only oil I will note that some may have an issue with is Coconut Oil.
Some people love it for everything and others find it clogs their pores or causes breakouts. So, if you're sensitive to coconut oil, you might want to test this out before covering your whole face in it.

That said, I personally don't have any sensitivities to coconut oil (my love of RMS Beauty is evidence of that) despite never having got the "hype" around it's use, and found it too greasy on my skin, and it never seemed to properly sink in (yes, I was using virgin, cold pressed, certified organic coconut oil).

I was pleasantly surprised by how light this oil was - it sinks into the skin very quickly, leaving it soft and supple. Unless your skin is very dry, you'll only need 2-3 drops to cover your entire face. There was none of the greasiness I typically associate with coconut oil.

I've also noticed my skin is feeling more hydrated next morning, so I'm not having to apply as much oil in my morning routine. I don't really have any fine lines, other than the usual smile lines under and around my eyes (I'm more prevention-age than treatment), but I've been loving this serum so far!
It is keeping my skin hydrated, without becoming oily, and performs beautifully under make-up.

Rosehip Oil, Coconut Oil, Olive Oil, Jojoba Oil, Avocado Oil, Argan Oil, Primrose Oil, Borage Oil, Vitamin E, Rosemary Oil, Bergamot Calabrian Oil, Basil Sweet Linalool Oil, Grapeseed Oil

Rosehip Oil is high in vitamin C and antioxidants, helping to reduce the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles.

Avocado Oil is rich in Vitamins A, B1, B2, B5, Lecithin, Squalene and skin loving Fatty Acids. Studies have found that the oil can mobilise and increase collagen in connective tissue, helping to keep skin soft and mobile.

Argan Oil is another wonderful little ingredient that is packed with vitamin E and high in fatty acids. Argan Oil is an effective anti-aging oil due to the high levels of vitamin E (anti-oxidants help neutralise free radical damage, which is important for skin exposed to polluted Western environments) and saponins (skin-softening agents). Besides cooling and soothing inflammation, it is also reputed to help reduce wrinkles by restoring the skin`s hydro-lipid layer.

Goji Berry &Vanilla Bean Mini Scented Spray Sample - available in the February Vegan Beauty Box (not pictured)

This blush-coloured spray has a lovely, light, sweet vanilla scent, but it isn't overpowering in any way.
The scent lingers on the skin all day, without the need to reapply, and does not transform into an unpleasant scent when mingled with the skin, as some synthetic scents are prone to doing.

The sample size is really great way for you to try it out, before purchasing a full size.
