I'm a lover of multi-use products, as they save on time, space, money (bonus!) and I can carry just 1 or 2 products for touch-ups on the go that will cover the entire look!

If you're familiar with my blog or follow me on instagram, you'll know my all-time favourite multi-use product is RMS Beauty's Un Coverup
Concealer, foundation, eyeshadow, all-round skin-perfecting pot of wonder.

But, another trick I love (apart from skipping the eyeshadow and using foundation instead), is using your cream blush as a lip colour.

It's a little trick that not only saves time and extra products to carry around (especially handy when travelling or packing for a weekend away), but it also effortlessly pulls your whole look together.
Add a few layers of mascara and you're set!

I prefer a fresh, pink flush of colour for my cheeks (I don't really wear neutral, peachy or tan shades, unless with a red lip), but this can sometimes be too pale for my lips - which are naturally very pigmented, so lighter, baby pinks don't look too great and I tend to feel a little washed-out.

Enter: watermelon and rose hues.
I particularly love ILIA Beauty's Multi-stick in At Last, which I ordered as a sample from Spirit Beauty Lounge (also available from Citrine Natural Skin).
It is a gorgeous mauve-rose hue with a beautiful dewy sheen that is perfect for both lips and cheeks. The colour can be applied sheer or built up. (note: the SBL swatch/photo is a much more accurate colour representation than shown on Citrine)

However, a colour I've really fallen in love with is the Kjaer Weis Cream Blush in Lovely (or shop international). This is a colour that  believe will work for almost any skin tone - ranging from porcelain to deeply tanned or dark. The Kjaer Weis Cream Blushes are highly pigmented, so if you are fairer, apply sparingly to the cheeks with fingertips and then blend out with a brush. I built up the colour more deeply on my lips for a full pout.
As these are cream blushes, the colour is a touch on the dry side for my lips, so I apply a clear balm or lip gloss over the top for a long-lasting stain.
