For those of you that aren't familiar, Ere Perez is an Australian brand with a focus on natural, skin-nourishing make-up.

Free of nasties, the ingredients are clean and natural, the packaging simple, and compact - making it perfect for on-the-go touch-ups and travel.

Until recently my Ere Perez collection consisted (solely) of the Ere Perez Volumising Waterproof Mascara. In love with it, I was so excited to get my hands on the rest of the collection.

The products I added to my collection are the Natural Almond Oil Mascara (black), Versatile Vanilla Highlighter (Falling Star), Clever Carrot Cheek & Lip Balm (Holy), Pure Rice Powder Blush (My Blush), Beautiful Beetroot Lip & Cheek Tint (Joy) and the Translucent Corn Perfecting Powder.

Clever Carrot Lip & Cheek Balm, Mascara, Pure Rice Powder Blush
Pure Rice Powder Blush

On first impressions, the Pure Rice Powder Blush looked far more bronze/natural than it actually applied. The two colours can be applied together (swirl brush over both tones and sweep across cheeks), or in layers - I applied the darker colour just below my cheek, and the lighter colour just above that, blending the two together.

I was pleasantly surprised when the lighter tone of blush applied as a lovely sort of golden pink - quite a natural flush of colour that was not at all washed-out. You could also sweep the darker tone across the eyelids, forehead, bridge of nose and chin for a soft bronzed look.

The powder is very light and is packaged in a lightweight mirrored compact.

The colour is long-lasting and never appeared heavy or cakey. If you are on the hunt for a multi-tasking powder blush, this would have to be one of the best.

Clever Carrot Cheek & Lip Balm

The compact looks small, until you realise how concentrated and pigmented this little lip and cheek colour is. The colour Holy is a gorgeous, wearable plum. The colour can be applied sheer or layered for a more intense affect. This is one of those brilliant colours that would suit almost any complexion.

I'm not usually one for darker colours - I prefer rose pinks, but this colour is so versatile I think it will be finding a permanent home in my makeup bag.

A light touch is required - lightly pat your finger a few times in the colour and dab across the apples of your cheeks just above the powder blush. I then blended out with the Alima Pure Blush Brush to create a lovely rosy colour.

The texture is creamy and slightly sticky in the compact (the stickiness doesn't transfer to your skin).

As a lip colour, it will stain your lips for a long-lasting colour - you can pop the compact in your purse for touch-ups, or pair with a lip gloss or balm.

Natural Almond Oil Mascara

I mentioned above that I already own the Waterproof Volumising Mascara by Ere Perez (review coming soon). It is great for when I want a more dramatic look, however, I had a space for a more natural effect mascara for day-time wear.

The Ere Perez Mascara applied smoothly and evenly, separating the lashes without clumping or smudging. The formula isn't too wet as I have found some natural mascaras to be, holding a curl all day for long, natural lashes. I also didn't suffer from raccoon eyes (that irritating problem of smudging under your eyes or around the lash line!) or flaking. Not. Once.

My lashes also stayed soft, even with two coats, as some mascaras can be prone to once dry.

It didn't move so much so that I did need a little oil and a makeup wipe to fully remove it after cleansing.

Out of the natural mascaras I have tried, this would have to be my new favourite for everyday wear.

Translucent Corn Perfecting Powder

The powder again comes packaged in a simple, chic white mirrored compact that is light-weight and perfectly suited for touch-ups or travel. The Perfecting Powder also comes with a little cotton puff for touch-ups.

Ere Perez recommend applying with a Kabuki Brush (My favourite is this one by W3LL People).

I tried it with the cotton puff included in the compact and found it far too heavy - for a translucent finishing/perfecting powder it provides excellent coverage.

Using it with a kabuki brush, this powder really does perfect. Use a light hand if you are wearing a full coverage foundation such as Kjaer Weis - a little does go a very long way.

The colour is only lightly tinted, and it doesn't feel heavy or look caked onto your skin.

I have also used this following the RMS Uncover Up #11 all over as a light - medium foundation, to set the cream and provide that additional coverage, for a dewy finish.

I also applied this in place of an eye shadow all over my lid, and set under the eyes (this also helps prevent mascara smudging, especially when using cream products).

Compared to the RMS Tinted Unpowder (full review coming soon), the Ere Perez Translucent Corn Perfecting Powder is more travel-friendly, and the coverage is heavier than the RMS.

I almost would describe this as between a finishing powder and a light powder foundation.

For liquid foundations, or if you have an oily skin type, I can see this being an excellent choice.

Versatile Vanilla Highlighter

This highlighter is a light, creamy beige in colour. The texture is creamy and light - again a little goes a very long way. The highlighter is shimmery, without being glittery - providing a gorgeous, natural glow across the cheek bones, cupids bow, brow bone and bridge of nose. You can apply simply with your fingertips and blend out.
You can apply this lightly, for a more subtle, natural glow, or layer it on for a glamorous evening look.
The cream formula makes this fool-proof for highlighting newbies - if you over do it, simply pat it out with your fingertips until it is blended to the right amount.
The neutral colour will suit all skin tones, and for those with more bronzed complexions (or simply after a more bronzed look!), the Versatile Vanilla comes in Sun Halo.
